Or, OR, maybe I'm not drinking nearly enough. I mean come on, the health benefits of coffee have been researched again and again, so scientists agree, guys.
Drink. More. Coffee.
But like any other addict, the research could flip flop tomorrow and assure me that I'll be dead in the next 24 hours if I don't put down my
But here I am droning on about coffee and most of you are probably scratching your heads and wondering, "Who the hell is this chick"?
Who the hell indeed.
I dropped off the face of the blogging world when we got, oh, about a month and a half's notice that we were moving across the country. Short notice, but (spoiler alert) it turned out to be awesome.
...except I stopped blogging.
Oops.
So my coffee-drinking butt is back, and we're going to get to know each other again. We're going to know each other really well.
Oh...Oh god not like that. I just meant that, you know, we're gonna, like, know a lot of stuff about each other.
Maybe.
Good to see you again! Hope all is well with you. We're in the middle of a cross country move, too. I'm now in Denver, CO, rather than Macon, GA.
ReplyDeleteNo way! We're still relatively close for both having made a cross-country move. We're in Tucson, AZ now. How are you liking Colorado?
DeleteCaffeine makes me super jittery, but I like coffee. I usually go decaf, which yes, there are people who exist who drink decaf. I still prefer indie coffee houses, but I've grown okay with my hubz's Starbucks obsession.
ReplyDeleteMy mother-in-law drinks decaf, so when she visited last I went out and bought her some and brewed up two different pots, haha. I do have to admit to having a soft spot in my heart for Starbucks - my husband and I met while working there!
DeleteWith me, it's usually diet coke. I'm too impatient to wait for coffee to cool down in the morning. :P
ReplyDeleteI pour some coconut milk in (lactose intolerant, bleh) and it's ready to go! But if I drank black coffee that would drive me crazy waiting for it to cool down.
DeleteThanks! I'm really glad to be back. :)
ReplyDeleteMoving is tough, Caitlin. I hope you're all settled in.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear from you!
We've actually been here a year now, haha. But we're all settled and we love it!
DeleteGetting back in the habit of blogging may be easier than you think. And don't worry about the coffee. Eggs have been getting the wishy-washy rap for so long I don't listen to the so-called experts any more lol!
ReplyDeleteHopefully it won't be too difficult. And good point! Coffee is good for me because it keeps me from being cranky. End of story, lol.
DeleteGreat to have you back. I don't drink coffee, but I like soda. I might drink less soda, but if someone suggests I stop, I might just bite them. As long as you're not bouncing off the walls or anything, you're good. Wishing you the best.
