Since I finished my WIP I've been a little, well, bored. Which is ridiculous because I stay home with two kids and three cats so I have plenty to do. Oh, and a coffee pot. That thing keeps me pretty occupied.
Yesterday I padded by my husband, my tablet in hand, and mumbled, "I think I'm going to start re-reading my novel."
I shouldn't have announced my plans as he quickly reminded me of why I decided to take a week long break. He then went to warn me that if I decided to read it anyway, he'd take away all of my electronics. Which is a pretty awful threat because I'd probably just jank the power chord to his computer, but I relented anyway.
And then while at the library I forgot to print it off.
Which just figures.
So instead I looked at this funny picture of Wil Wheaton. Which made me want to watch The Guild. Which I did. And then followed that up with one of Wil Wheaton's episodes on The Big Bang Theory while playing Doctor Who Monopoly with my husband.
Since I'm unable to take another trip to the library till Thursday or Friday I've decided to go ahead and start planning this years NaNoWriMo novel. It's super early, but my goal for this year is to come away with a novel that's ready to be edited and that doesn't require an entire overhaul and re-write, which is exactly what happened with This is Now, last year's NaNo Novel and also the WIP that I just finished re-writing.
